Section 04 · What's new

What's new

Each release of Alpha, with the new things, fixes, and improvements you can expect to see. Newest first.

  1. v1.32.0

    Jun 9, 2026

    New

    • See your finished work in My Work. A new Incomplete / Completed switch lets you flip between what's still open and what you've already done — and reopen an item if it was marked done too soon.
    • Filter My Work by organization and project. Working across several shops or juggling a lot of jobs? Narrow the list with searchable organization and project filters that only offer places you actually have work.

    Improvements

    • My Work stays fast with long histories. Completed work now loads a page at a time with a Load more button, so the list opens quickly no matter how much you've finished.
    • "Notes" is now "Comments." The tab in My Work and the project thread panel now share one name, matching what they are — the project's comment thread.
  2. v1.31.0

    Jun 9, 2026

    Fixes

    • Role descriptions now say what each role can actually do. The blurbs shown when inviting a teammate or changing a role were out of date for Owner, Admin, and Accountant — including who can see billing and usage, and who can manage other owners. They now match the real permissions, in English and Spanish.
  3. v1.30.0

    Jun 9, 2026

    Improvements

    • Snappier across the board. Sign-in, project edits, deleting records, and the getting-started checklist now do less work behind the scenes, so the app stays responsive as your workspace grows.
  4. v1.29.0

    Jun 8, 2026

    Improvements

    • Items and Locations lists now page through results. Both lists show a fixed number of entries at a time with a pager at the bottom, matching the Customers list, so a long catalog or site list no longer renders as one endless scroll. On Locations you can now filter by several customers at once and still page through every match, and the map keeps showing all matching pins.
    • The list pager stays put on your phone. On Customers, Items, and Locations, the page controls are now pinned just above the bottom navigation bar, so you can flip pages without scrolling to the end of the list first.
    • Changing pages gives you instant feedback. When you move between pages or change a filter on a list, the controls show a spinner and the current rows dim until the new results arrive — so it's always clear something is loading.
  5. v1.28.0

    Jun 7, 2026

    Improvements

    • Create a project in the order you actually scope one. The New Project form now starts with the customer, then a location for that customer, then the work-order items — so you choose who and where before listing the work. The location picker only shows locations that belong to the customer you selected.

    Fixes

    • Fixed several screens that were still showing as boxed-in cards on a phone — including the New Project flow — so they now run edge-to-edge and flat like the rest of the mobile app.
  6. v1.27.0

    Jun 7, 2026

    New

    • Mention a teammate in a project comment. While writing a comment, type @ and pick a person to tag them directly. Mentioned teammates get a higher-signal "you were mentioned" notification *and* an email that links straight to the comment — even line-item-only assignees who don't normally follow the project thread. You can mention several people at once, their names are highlighted as you type and in the posted comment, and adding a mention when you edit a comment notifies only the newly added person. You can mention anyone assigned to the project or to one of its work-order line items.
  7. v1.25.0

    Jun 6, 2026

    New

    • Filter with tap-friendly chips on mobile. On a phone, the boxed filter panels are replaced by a row of pill-shaped chips you can swipe through, just like the App Store, Photos, and Mail. Tap a chip to open its picker; an active filter turns colored and shows how many you've selected. It's now consistent everywhere you filter — Projects (customer, status, and date), the Team On-Site board (site and person), Items, Locations, your team members, and the platform console. Nothing changes on desktop.

    Improvements

    • Cancel is always at the bottom on mobile. When creating or editing — including the step-by-step Customer and Project wizards — the Cancel button now lives in the bottom bar next to the main action, instead of jumping to the top corner in some flows. To go back a step in a wizard, tap a completed step in the indicator at the top.
    • A more native Team On-Site board on mobile. The on-site and not-on-site lists now run edge-to-edge with roomier rows, larger avatars, and clean hairline separators, and the search box moves up into the page header.
    • A cleaner "who's on site" list on a project. On a project's detail screen, the team-presence list now uses the same roomier, edge-to-edge mobile style, and each person's check-in details wrap neatly under their name so a long name or location can no longer push the layout off the edge of the screen.
    • The full project page feels native on mobile. Opening a project's full details now uses the same large title and pinned back button as the rest of the app, instead of a desktop-style header squeezed onto the phone.
    • Roomier My Work cards on mobile. Project names, task rows, and locations now use the same comfortable type scale as the rest of the mobile app, so everything is easier to read in the field.
    • A clearer member row on mobile. A teammate's email no longer gets cut short by the status badge crowding the same line — email, role, status, and invite date now flow across the full width of the row.

    Fixes

    • Fixed an error that could occur when leaving a page while scrolled down, which sometimes left the top bar in a broken state.
  8. v1.24.0

    Jun 5, 2026

    New

    • A mobile experience that feels native. On a phone, the app now looks and moves like a native iOS app rather than a website squeezed onto a small screen. Lists run edge-to-edge under large, bold page titles that tuck up into the top bar as you scroll; opening a customer, project, or job slides in with a back button that stays pinned at the top; and actions — editing details, changing a teammate's role — rise from the bottom of the screen as tap-friendly sheets. It's consistent across the whole app: Customers, Projects, Items, Locations, your team, Notifications, My Work, and the Getting Started, Billing, Integrations, and Settings pages. Nothing changes on desktop.

    Improvements

    • Reach the Project Planner from your phone. The Project Planner button now appears on the Projects screen on mobile, not just on desktop — and the planner's timeline opens full-width across the screen instead of sitting inside a narrow card.
    • A clearer location list on mobile. Locations now use a roomier row that gives the name, customer, address, and geofence status each their own line, so longer location names are no longer cut off.
  9. v1.23.0

    Jun 5, 2026

    New

    • Search and filter your team. The Members page now has a search box plus role and status filters, so you can jump straight to a teammate by email or narrow the list to just owners, pending invites, or any other slice. Longer team lists are paginated, so the page stays fast as your organization grows.

    Improvements

    • Faster QuickBooks estimate sync. Sending a work order to QuickBooks and pulling changes back are now noticeably quicker, especially for estimates with many line items.
  10. v1.22.0

    Jun 5, 2026

    New

    • Preview exactly what will change before syncing to QuickBooks. When a project's work order has drifted from its QuickBooks estimate, choosing Sync changes now opens a review sheet that spells out precisely what the sync will do — every line added, edited, or removed, plus a customer change — so you can confirm before anything is written to QuickBooks.
    • See which lines have changed at a glance. Work order lines now carry small New and Edited badges showing how each one differs from the estimate you last synced, so you can spot what's still pending before you send it over.
    • Safer syncing when QuickBooks changed first. If someone edited the estimate in QuickBooks since your last sync, the app now warns you before your update would overwrite their work — and offers Pull from QuickBooks to bring their version down into the work order instead, so a change is never lost without you choosing.

    Improvements

    • Smoother buttons while saving. Action buttons in pop-up panels no longer flicker or show a stray box behind them while a save is in progress.
  11. v1.21.0

    Jun 4, 2026

    New

    • Send and sync estimates with QuickBooks. Turn a project's work order into a QuickBooks Online estimate without leaving the app. Open a project, review its line items, and tap Send estimate — the quantities, prices, and customer flow straight into QuickBooks. From then on the two stay in step: edit the estimate in QuickBooks and your work order updates on its own, and when you change line items or the customer here, the project flags "Local changes not pushed" and the button switches to Sync changes so you always know when an update is waiting. The estimate's status, total, and a link to open it in QuickBooks all show right on the project. A few guardrails keep things safe — once an estimate is accepted in QuickBooks it's locked from edits here, and if a project's customer or one of its items isn't linked to QuickBooks yet, the app tells you what to connect before sending.
  12. v1.20.0

    Jun 3, 2026

    Improvements

    • A more consistent, polished interface. We went through every page — including the admin console — and lined up the spacing, headings, buttons, and panels so the app looks and behaves the same way from screen to screen.
    • Easier to read and tap on any device. On large monitors, pages now sit in a comfortable centered column instead of stretching edge to edge, so lists and forms are easier to scan. Buttons and controls are also larger and easier to tap on phones and tablets.
  13. v1.19.0

    Jun 3, 2026

    New

    • Project Planner — see all your projects on a full-screen timeline. Open the Project Planner from the Projects page to view every project laid out on one timeline, edge to edge. Switch between day, week, and month zoom to plan tight schedules or scan months at a glance, and tap any project to slide its details in alongside the timeline without losing your place. The Planner now works on your phone too — tap a project to view its details, or turn your phone sideways for the widest view.
    • Reschedule projects by dragging. Right on the timeline, drag a project's left or right edge to change its start or end date, or drag the whole bar to move the project earlier or later while keeping its length. Changes save as soon as you let go.
  14. v1.18.0

    Jun 3, 2026

    New

    • Choose your language — English or Español. You can now set the language the app's interface is shown in. Pick English or Spanish from the account menu (tap your name or avatar), and the menus, buttons, labels, and messages switch over right away. Your own content — customer names, addresses, notes, comments, and anything else you type — always stays exactly as you wrote it; only the app's own wording changes. Your choice is remembered on the device you set it on.
  15. v1.17.0

    Jun 2, 2026

    New

    • Disable and re-enable team members. Owners and admins can now temporarily switch off a teammate's access instead of removing them outright. A disabled member can't sign in or be assigned new work, but everything they're already on — their projects and assignments — is kept untouched, so re-enabling them later restores it exactly as it was. When you're parting ways for good, Remove still permanently revokes access and clears their assignments. Manage it from the Team page; only an owner can disable another owner.

    Improvements

    • Action buttons stay within reach on mobile. On a phone, the main actions for a customer or project — like Edit, View projects, View full details, and Delete — are now anchored across the bottom of the screen, so you can act without scrolling to the end of a long page.
    • Smoother item editing on mobile. Opening the edit panel for a catalog item no longer jolts the screen or pops the keyboard before you're ready — it slides up cleanly and waits for you to tap in.
  16. v1.16.0

    Jun 2, 2026

    New

    • Checkout reminders from the project manager. A project manager can now add a checkout message to a project — a short reminder a worker sees the moment they check out, like "before you leave, log the materials you used, photograph the finished work, and tidy the site." The worker reviews the reminder and confirms before their visit closes. Projects without a message check out in a single tap, exactly as before. Set it on the project's edit screen.
  17. v1.15.0

    Jun 2, 2026

    New

    • On-site view for project managers. Managers can now open the On site dashboard and see who's actually present on each of their projects — including field crew assigned to individual line items, not just the project's managers. You see the team on the projects you run, scoped to your own work.
    • Clearer QuickBooks link status. A customer's detail page now shows its QuickBooks connection status at a glance with a cleaner, easier-to-read treatment.

    Improvements

    • Confirm before checking off My Work. Completing — or reopening — an item in My Work now asks you to confirm first, so a stray tap won't flip its status.
    • Smoother line items on mobile. Editing a project's line items on your phone is steadier — the on-screen keyboard no longer pushes the edit sheet off the top of the screen, and the page behind it stays put.
    • Tidier "clear all" for notifications. Clearing all your notifications now shows a clear, full confirmation prompt.
  18. v1.14.2

    Jun 2, 2026

    Improvements

    • Team Presence shows your full crew. A project's Team Presence now includes people assigned to its individual work-order line items, not just those assigned to the project as a whole — so the on-site view reflects everyone actually doing the work.
    • Consistent loading indicators. Lists and pickers throughout the app now show the same loading spinner while they fetch.
  19. v1.14.1

    Jun 2, 2026

    Improvements

    • Smoother line items on mobile. Adding line items while creating a project on your phone is much steadier — opening the keyboard no longer pushes the item picker or quantity field off the top of the screen, and the page behind the sheet stays put.
  20. v1.14.0

    Jun 1, 2026

    New

    • Check in to your projects. When you arrive on site, tap Check in and pick the project you're working — managers and anyone with assigned work on a project can check in to it. The list leads with the site you're standing at (marked You're here) and orders the rest by distance, so it's usually a single tap. If you're at exactly one of your project sites, you're checked in automatically. Projects from every workspace you belong to show up in one place, so there's nothing to switch between.
    • See who's on site. While you're checked in, the app shows the project you're on and a running timer, with one-tap check out. For managers, the on-site view now reflects exactly who is present for each project — even when two projects share a location.
  21. v1.13.3

    Jun 1, 2026

    Improvements

    • Line items lead the new-project flow. Creating a project now starts with the items you're scoping, so you can capture the work first and fill in the name, customer, and managers right after.
  22. v1.13.2

    Jun 1, 2026

    Improvements

    • General improvements and refinements across the system.
  23. v1.13.1

    May 31, 2026

    Improvements

    • Better assignment emails. When you're assigned a task, the email now takes you straight to it in My Work — the right place to pick it up, even when you don't have access to the full project. Notification emails also got a visual polish so they read cleanly on a phone.
  24. v1.13.0

    May 31, 2026

    New

    • Email notifications. You'll now get an email when you're invited to a workspace, added to a project, or assigned a task — so you don't have to be in the app to know something needs you. Each email links straight to the right place and is designed to look great on your phone.
  25. v1.12.2

    May 31, 2026

    Improvements

    • Reorganized the main navigation. The sidebar — and the bottom tabs on mobile — are now grouped into Work (your assignments and projects), Ops (customers, locations, items, and live on-site team presence), and Admin (workspace settings). Nothing was removed; the same pages are just in more predictable places.
  26. v1.12.1

    May 30, 2026

    Improvements

    • General improvements and refinements across the system.
  27. v1.12.0

    May 30, 2026

    Improvements

    • General improvements and refinements across the system.
  28. v1.11.0

    May 30, 2026

    Improvements

    • Pop-up panels are smoother and easier to dismiss. On phones, the menus, pickers, and forms that slide up from the bottom of the screen can now be swiped down to close. Panels everywhere also open and close with more polished animation.
  29. v1.10.0

    May 30, 2026

    Improvements

    • Add a location in seconds with address search. When you create or edit a location, start typing the address and pick the right match — the street, city, state, postal code, and country fill in for you and the map pin drops automatically. No more typing every field by hand. If an address can't be found, you can still enter it manually.
    • A simpler, faster location form. It now leads with address search and the map, and names the location for you from the customer and address (you can always change it). Contact details and the full address fields are tucked into optional sections, so the common case stays quick. On phones, opening the form no longer pops up the keyboard before you're ready.
    • Every location gets an on-site zone by default. New locations come with a 75-meter check-in radius shown right on the map. Drag the pin or change the radius to fit the site — or switch to advanced mode to draw custom shapes — so it's always clear where workers count as on-site.
    • A clearer geofence map. The location pin, circle centers, and shape corners now look distinct and show a label when you hover, so it's obvious what each one does and how to adjust it.
    • A friendlier startup screen. Loading your workspace now shows a polished animation that lands on a green check the moment everything's ready.
    • The Google Drive panel no longer shows up on customer and project pages when Google Drive isn't connected.
  30. v1.9.1

    May 29, 2026

    Improvements

    • You can now use the up and down arrow keys to move through the options in dropdown and filter menus, and press Enter to pick the highlighted one — no mouse required. This works whether or not the menu has a search box, including the project status filter.
  31. v1.9.0

    May 29, 2026

    Improvements

    • Dark mode is here. Pick Light, Dark, or System from the account menu — System follows your device's appearance setting and switches automatically. Your choice is remembered across visits.
  32. v1.8.0

    May 29, 2026

    Improvements

    • Editing a customer or location now shows up in the activity feed, so the workspace history reflects those edits alongside everything else.
    • Swipe-to-dismiss on mobile panels and sheets is steadier — gestures no longer drop partway through.
  33. v1.7.0

    May 28, 2026

    Improvements

    • General improvements and refinements across the system.
  34. v1.6.0

    May 27, 2026

    Improvements

    • General improvements and refinements across the system.
  35. v1.5.0

    May 26, 2026

    Improvements

    • New "+ Project" shortcut in the mobile bottom nav — tap it from anywhere to jump straight into the new-project wizard. Only shows for roles that can create projects.
    • The mobile bottom nav now sits clear of the screen's rounded corners, so the leftmost and rightmost tabs aren't visually clipped on modern phones.
    • The mobile top header — logo, check-in pill, getting-started icon, and notification bell — stays pinned as you scroll. Punch in/out or check notifications from any scroll position without scrolling back to the top.
  36. v1.4.1

    May 27, 2026

    Improvements

    • General improvements and refinements across the system.
  37. v1.4.0

    May 26, 2026

    New

    • Getting Started page for owners and admins — explains how Customers, Locations, Projects, and Visits relate, walks through every workspace role, and offers a five-step quick-start path into the rest of the app.
    • Live setup checklist on the Getting Started page — steps for inviting your team, connecting QuickBooks, adding customers and items, and creating your first project tick off automatically as you complete them.
    • Compact "Getting started" icon in the desktop banner and mobile header so owners and admins can revisit the page any time.
    • Owners and admins land on Getting Started the first time they sign in; once you've visited the page, future sign-ins go to your usual home.
  38. v1.3.0

    May 26, 2026

    New

    • Workspace settings page for owners — reset clears every project, customer, location, item, attachment, comment, and audit record while keeping the workspace and your team in place; delete removes the workspace entirely. Both run in the background with a progress modal that stays open until the wipe finishes.
  39. v1.2.0

    May 26, 2026

    New

    • PO number and incident number on projects — searchable from the projects list
  40. v1.1.0

    May 26, 2026

    New

    • Site details on locations — gate codes, access notes, and on-site instructions shared with assigned techs
  41. v1.0.0

    May 26, 2026

    New

    • Live on-site board and check-in feed
    • Project pipeline with list, timeline, and Gantt views
    • Customer and location management with per-location geofences
    • Worker check-in / check-out tracking with site presence
    • Project threads with comments and activity audit trail
    • Attachments per project, customer, and location
    • In-app and email notifications for assignments and project updates
    • QuickBooks Online — customers, items, and estimates
    • Google Drive — per-project folders, organized by customer

    Improvements

    • One web app, built for phone and desktop
    • Role-based access — owners, admins, project managers, technicians, accountants, read-only
